Bali East Villas

Kintamani Volcano Tour enjoy spectacular views of Mount Batur, with ribbons of black lava running down from its peak in to a valley below. Stop at the Lake View Hotel for a coffee break to view the scenery in comfort. Travel on past the stunning Tegallalang rice terraces a national heritage site.

Choose to visit the Goa Gajah elephant cave dated from the 11th century or the spectacular Monkey forest temple in the heart of Ubud village. Lunch at our secret chosen Restaurant called Indus overlooking the Ayung river. Visit the Ubud Markets or one of the traditional artist villages making silver, painting or wood carving. Return to Serene Villas by 5pm.

Tanah Lot Temple Tour, after leaving Seminyak stop first at Taman Ayun in Mengwi, an important temple complex for Bali's Hindu population. Located on ground level with a wide moat surrounding it, then on to Alas Kedaton is a further 25 minutes drive and a temple surrounded by an overgrown monkey forest always a favorite with Tourists.

Hold on to your sunglasses and keep your camera handy for lovely pictures. Lastly Tanah Lot, Bali's most important coastal temple. Built in the 16th century on a huge rock outcrop in the sea. At low tide it is possible to walk up to the temple. Enjoy stunning sunsets across the blue ocean from the mainland. Return to Serene Villas by 7pm.

Museum Tour, visit Bali's main Museum in Denpasar, with a splendid collection of artifacts from prehistoric times until today. Then on to the Arts Centre a traditional Balinese building which houses a permanent exhibition of modern paintings with some of the best Bali art to be found there.

Finally to the local Kumbasari local market where all kinds of arts, crafts, produce and almost anything that one can find in Bali is sold. Return to Serene Villas by 1pm.

Uluwatu Tour, visit on the way the massive Garuda Wisnu Kencana park to view the massive statue and views of Bali from one of its high points. Uluwatu is a stunning temple found on the spectacular cliff edge at the southern most point of Bali. Also a popular haven for Bali's surfing crowd.

Enjoy the Kecak dance performed by 50 bare chested men dancing the traditional battle dance at the temple. Some great picture opportunities here. Stop at Jimbaran bay to eat seafood on the beach at Menega Cafe and enjoy dining under the stars. Return to Serene Villas by 9pm.
